Rimini Theme ParkLocated in Viserba di Rimini, on Italy in Miniature Park it covers an area of 85,000 square meters and a theme park with mechanical attractions and shows, whose main feature is the path of miniatures with scale model of 272 iconic landmarks of heritage architectural, historical and cultural heritage of our country.
Designed by Ivo Rambaldi, inspired to similar visited parks in Europe, Italy in Miniature was opened in 1970 and is particularly striking because, adorned with lawns, flowers and bonsai, will also play our own landscapes with the Alps, the hills, the rivers, lakes, seas and microanimation, with regular trains that stop at stations, airports and highways.
So it walks, between the Duomo of Milan, St. Apollinaris in Classe Ravenna, the Cathedral of Santa Maria del Fiore in Florence, the Basilica of St. Peter and the Colosseum in Rome, and the beautiful Agrigento in Sicily. Particularly fascinating Venice reconstruction realized one fifth of the actual size that enables you to navigate gondola on the Grand Canal, passing under the Rialto Bridge and reach St. Mark's Square with its magnificent basilica.

With the passage of time the Park, which annually attracts thousands of visitors from around the world, has extended its offer by joining the original cultural visit, shows and attractions that make it an ideal destination for the whole family.
Among the main ones we remember Canoe, the aquatic roller coaster, Sling Shot, the giant slingshot from which is launched at breakneck speed at a height of 55 m, and the monorail Rainbow, which allows a panoramic view of the park with a voiceover explaining to visitors encountered miniatures along the journey.
To have fun in the battles with strokes of splashing water along the ditches of a medieval castle there Cannonacqua, for an animated journey in one of the most famous Italian fairy tale Pinocchio there instead.
